Counselling for You

I became a psychotherapist because I love working with people and feel a deep sense of satisfaction when I can play an active role in a client’s journey. If you’d like help to identify, regulate, and communicate your emotions to understand yourself better and facilitate your relationships, I’m here for you! With my clients, I explore and work on topics such as life transitions, neurodiversity, interpersonal relationships, painful childhood experiences, grief and loss, depression, anxiety and more.

My aim is to create a safe, judgement-free space where I can establish a therapeutic alliance, where you can feel seen and heard. I take a person-centred approach and integrate other approaches, for example EFT and EMDR.

Counselling for All

Over the years I’ve had the pleasure of working with clients from diverse cultural backgrounds and identities, including with 2SLGBTQIA+ and neurodiverse folks, people with visible/invisible disabilities, and other intersecting identities. Whatever your background and experience, I hope to be able to meet you where you are and move with you toward your destination.

My Journey

My journey has been filled with ups and downs, and twists and turns. This life experience helps me to hold space for clients, recognise a client’s inner strength, and trust the process of psychotherapy. I hope to encourage you to continue your journey and make the changes you want to make.

Empathy because

Empathy is the very heart of any successful therapeutic relationship. It connects the counsellor to the client, enabling them to glimpse the internal experience of the client. Through fostering a strong empathetic link, I work to support clients as they navigate the often complex landscapes of their inner selves.

Empathy vs Empathie

My first language is French (born and raised in Montreal), and although the majority of my clients are English speakers, I also work in French. I chose the French spelling of the word “empathy” for our name, to acknowledge my heritage and to let francophones know I work in French too.

French-speaking, inclusive female psychologist, south side, Edmonton, Alberta (neurodivergent, adhd, attachment disorder, emotion regulation), feeling overwhelmed and tired?

I am a settler of this Land and would like to respectfully acknowledge that I live and work on Treaty 6 territory. I respect the histories, languages and cultures of all First Peoples of Canada and whose presence enriches our community.
